VinFast Limo Green India Launch Timeline Revealed — Electric MPV To Arrive In February 2026

VinFast Limo Green Set For India Arrival — What To Expect From The Electric MPV

VinFast is currently selling VF6 and VF7 SUVs in India, and both have provided the automaker with a slight yet noticeable start in the expanding EV market in the country.

VinFast’s upcoming electric MPV, the Limo Green, is set to make its India premiere in February 2026, which has generated a lot of buzz. To support a larger market presence than before, the company has been working to strengthen its dealer network in key cities.

We will discuss the Limo Green’s design, interior comfort and amenities, and anticipated performance on Indian roads.

Design

The first element of the Limo Green that is visible is the slim line LED light bar that sits on the front of the vehicle. It gives the MPV a modern and polished look. The V-shape pattern of the DRL adds some flair but is minimalistic. Being an electric vehicle means the grille is sealed and the bumper line is smooth for better highway driving efficiency.

From the side profile, the height and length make a clear statement — this vehicle is designed to transport people, and a good amount of them. With its length at about 4.7 meters, the vehicle is impersonally the length of the Mahindra XUV700 and is larger than the soon to enter market Carens Clavis EV. Modern and classy is achieved with the flush door handles and sleek designed wheel covers.

The rear has the same themed connected LED lighting and like the front. From the outside the tailgate appears to be wide enough for easy and quick access for loading and unloading bags, and the bottom layer adds some balanced visual weight.

Overall, the vehicle’s design is attempting to balance being premium and practical functionality.

Interior And Features

Once you step inside, you notice that the way the cabin is designed is meant to be relaxed and simplistic. There is no clutter, no extra buttons, and no flashy decorations. For road function control, you have a central touchscreen in the middle, and instead of a standard screen that goes in front of the driver, there is a screen that goes in front of the windshield, allowing you to keep your eyes on the road.

The seating configuration is in a three-twelve formation, where a family of eight will fit snugly. Even large families will appreciate this configuration, especially if there is someone that always traided to get the last-row seat.

Based on the foreign version, expected features include:

  • 10.1-inch touchscreen

  • Wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay

  • Keyless entry & push-button start

  • Climate control

  • Leatherette upholstery

  • Possibly powered and ventilated seats

  • Ambient lighting for a premium vibe

The safety features available in the car include four or more airbags, a full 360-degree camera, tire pressure monitoring, parking sensors in the front and back, and other various safety features. In addition to this, the Indian version may include ADAS.

Powertrain

Limo Green in Vietnam, comes with a 60.13kWh battery, which can travel 450 km (NEDC) (according to Limo Green’s website). Running it 201 PS/280 Nm motor that powers the front wheels, running it on fast charge can carry the battery from 10% to 70% charge in approx 30 minutes.

There are rumours that the platform will be shared with the VF7, making localisation smoother and hopefully cheaper, when the MPV is built to India.

Expected Price And Rivals

Limo Green is expected to cost ₹20 lakh (ex-showroom). Its closest rivals are expected to be Toyota Innova, Kia Carens Clavis, EV, and BYD eMax 7.

If VinFast is able to price the above mentioned items appropriately, this will be the first electric MPV that can be seriously considered by families in India, as it provides comfort, easy drivability, and a contemporary, cost-effective powertrain.
